It Takes Time

Each work emerges from a collaboration with a participant who initiates the creative process by tracing lines that engage and occupy the space. Drawing on these initial gestures, I search my imagination for forms that give them meaning. I appropriate this abstract space and imbue it with a narrative that gradually unfolds throughout the process. At the end, each drawing is signed on the right-hand side by the person who contributed a portion of their time, making their participation visible. In this way, the work is brought to completion.
