About

My artistic education began with those who, in my childhood, saw something in me and made me believe I had a talent for creating. That confidence led me to attend art academies, where I was able to deepen my knowledge and pursue my areas of interest. This academic journey, spanning painting, digital media and research, shaped an artistic practice that moves across different media, processes and visual languages.

I have exhibited regularly for more than two decades, combining my artistic practice with teaching drawing. Teaching has become an integral part of my creative journey: engaging with different ways of thinking and representing leads me to continually question and expand my own practice.

The blank page is the starting point for my work. Gesture remains, layered over the visual languages I draw upon, while ongoing experimentation allows me to explore new possibilities without confining myself to a single discipline.

My work focuses on how we construct reality through human relationships. I am interested in the tension between the individual and the collective, the social structures that shape perception, and the belief systems that influence what we understand as truth. Through artistic practice, I explore the relationships between the parts and the whole, between memory and presence.

I understand creation as a space for inquiry, dialogue and discovery.
